Dra. Isabela de Aranzadi
Grupo MUSYCA, Universidad Complutense de Madrid – España

Lucy Duran heads to Equatorial Guinea in central Africa, with her guide Isabela de Aranzadi, to hear the music of the majority Fang people. From xylophones in churches to ritual funeral dances she hears traditions that have been preserved through migration, imperialism, and slavery, and are now facing the challenges of modernisation.
